Our Herm Sprenger prong collar is very strong. If you want to use this dog training collar, just snap them in or out. Another good side of our Original Herm Springer German is that it is made steel. What makes it an excellent tool for teaching heel, sit, stay, whoa, etc. In case you want to achieve the proper fit, you can just add or remove links.
General "Woof" Collar Tip: To make this collar a high quality product we used selected leather hidesI prefer the steel "prong/pinch" type dog training collars to choke chains as I have found their use to result in easier and faster training for both the dog and the trainer.
I suggest that teaching "heel" is a good place to start with the prong/pinch collar.
